About Essighaus Publishing
It began in 1974 with a single essay. Over the decades, that collection grew, but it wasn't until 2026 that my son asked the inevitable question: “What is the point of writing a book if you don’t eventually publish it?”
That spark ignited Essighaus Publishing.
My focus is on Christian themes, though I have little patience for how the faith is often portrayed in the modern landscape. To me, Christianity is not a performance or a political tool; it is meant to be lived with radical sincerity and a profound respect for the dignity and autonomy of every individual.
My first release, The Unvarnished Architect: Finding the Logic of a Messy Bible, is the culmination of this perspective—an invitation to engage with Scripture without the polish that often obscures its true heart.
